Program Competencies and Outcomes (جمانربل                    ا تاجرخم   و تارادجلا)



                 I.  Domain 1 (Area 1) Medical Knowledge (MK)
                   General  Competency  statement:    Graduates  must  demonstrate  knowledge  about

                   established  and  evolving  biomedical,  clinical,  and  cognate  (e.g.  epidemiological  and
                   social-behavioral) sciences and the application of this knowledge to patient care and the

                   education of others.

                Key Competencies
                1:  Identify the basic and clinical sciences and integrating them in medical practice.

                2: Delineate investigatory planning and analytic thinking approaches.
                3: Recognize the supporting sciences & concepts and integrate them in medical practice.

                II.  Domain 2 (Area 2) Patient Care (PC)
                   General Competency statement:  Graduates must be able to provide patient care that is

                   compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of health problems and the

                   promotion of health.
                Key Competencies

                1: Conduct medical interview for accurate history taking and proper clinical
                examination.

                2: Request and / or perform diagnostic procedures and make prioritized differential

                diagnosis.
                3: Counsel and educate patients and their families.

                4: Develop and carry out effective and safe patient management plans.
                5: Request and / or perform the essential therapeutic procedures.


               III.  Domain 3 (Area 3) Practice-Based Learning and Improvement (PBLI)
                   General Competency statement:  Graduates must be able to investigate and evaluate their
                   patient  care  practices,  appraise  and  assimilate  scientific  evidence  and  improve  their

                   patient care practices.

                Key Competencies
                1:  Demonstrate advocacy for scholarly activities.

                2: Promote personal development and life-long learning.
                3: Use reflection and constructive feedback skills.

                4: Demonstrate skills and abilities as a clinical teacher.
