                                  CBMBP welcome all students for a new program and
                                  anew beginning we expect the best from you.


                                                   FIRST: INTRODUCTION AND PROGRAM SUBSTRACTION



                                  Study Components Of The Program :
                                  Modules: These Modules Have Different Credit Hours And Different Study Burdens.
                                  The Program Has Individual Courses (Basics Of Medical Science), Courses That Represent A Combination
                                  Of A Number Of Modules Of Varying Size And Weight Where Learning Will Be Through Horizontal
                                  Integration, Body Systems Courses Where Vertical Integration For All Body Systems Takes Place And
                                  Courses Of Different Skills, Either To Be Individual Courses For A Single Field Or Courses Of Several
                                  Modules And Cover A Number Of Skills; Those Courses Represent To Great Extend Spiral Integration.
                                  Additionally, Learning In Clinical Years Will Be Through Clerkship That Will Support Vertical And Spiral
                                  Integration.

                                  Credit Hour System :
                                  According To The Denition Of The Carnegie Institute, One Credit Hour Equals 15 Hours Theoretical (15-18)
                                  In The Semester I.E. 15 Lectures, Each 60 Minutes), Or 15 Practical Sessions (15-18) Each About 2 Hours
                                  (100-120 Minutes) Or 15 Training Sessions Or Workshops Each About Two Hours An Half (150-180 Minutes)
                                  Taking Into Consideration Other Activities.
                                  The Total Number Of Credit Hours In One Semester Depends On The Number Of Weeks And The Type Of
                                  Courses. However, It Is Possible That The Number Of Credit Hours Exceeds The Number Of Academic
                                  Weeks Per Semester In Case Of Increasing The Number Of Educational Hours Available Per Day.
                                  Self-directed Learning :
                                  As All Modern Curricula, The New International Curriculum Depends On That The Whole Time In The College
                                  Not Only For The Study, But A Large Part Of The Hours For Research And Self-directed Learning And
                                  Therefore Leave The Appropriate Spaces In The Table For Self-learning
                                  Within The College (For Example, 6 Working Days Per Week Multiplied By 6-8 Working Hours = 36-48
                                  Working Hours Available Per Week. We Take At Least One-third Of These For Self-directed Learning And
                                  Research. The Remaining 24-36 Hours Will Be Distributed To The Semester Courses Per Week.
                                  Problem Based Learning:
                                  The Program Is Characterized By Attention To The Philosophy Of Problem Based Learning In The Third Year,
                                  Where There Will Be Study Of 4-6 Cases In Each Course, Taking The Necessary To Ensure Not To Fall Into
                                  Some Defects Of The Application (Lack Of Information And Skill Between Students, Which Reduces The
                                  Possibility Of Constructiveness) By Combining The Strategy Of Team Based Learning And Its Use To Form A
                                  Knowledge Base And Skills And Then Move The Students To The Strategy Of Problem Based Learning.
                                  All These Medical Problems Are Predetermined In A Coordination Framework Between The Scottish
                                  Standards And Methodology Of The University Of Dundee And The Cooperation Between The Committee Of
                                  Curriculum And The Departments To Ensure The Lack Of Repetition And To Ensure Integration & That The
                                  Problems Are Common And Related To The Community And That They Are The Basic Of The Training Of The
                                  Graduates Of The International Faculties Of Medicine (Adapted From The University Of Dundee, Scotland).
                                  These Courses Are Aiming To:
                                  * Improvement Of Research, Active Learning, Self-directed Learning, Communication And Discussion Skills,
                                  Then Improvement Of These Skills Inside The Groups. Objective Evaluation Will Be Done For Each Student
                                  From Stuff Members And His Colleagues.
                                  * Presentation To Multiple Experts In The Same Case To Give Their Opinions For Each Group And For The
                                  Overall Interest & Objective Evaluation Of The Group As A Whole.
                                  * Presentations Will Be Recorded To Be Used For The Improvement Of The Student, The Evaluator And The
                                  Program .
