Vice Dean’s Message












                   Dear Students “Doctors of the future”
                          I am pleased to welcome you at the beginning of the new academic year and you

                   are on the threshold of realizing your dream. Because you are the future of Egypt, you

                   deserve the best.
                          The keenness of the Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, headed by my brother

                   and my friend, Prof. Dr. Amgad Farhat, Dean of the Faculty, to be at the forefront of
                   Egyptian colleges that adopt the latest recognized medical education systems globally is a

                   matter  of  pride.  It  is  an  honor  for  Tanta  to  be  the  first  Egyptian  college  to  apply  for
                   bachelor's  degrees  in  five  years  in  addition  to  two  years  of  training  through  this

                   distinguished program.

                          The  International  Competency  Based  Program  for  the  granting  of  Bachelor  of
                   Medicine and Surgery based on the system of credit hours is the product of hard work

                   and great effort of working groups formed by Your Excellency faculty members over the
                   past years who have taken upon themselves to upgrade the level of graduate to offer a

                   doctor competent to the new era, has the tools of self-learning, the culture of continuous

                   learning, and a high competitive edge in the local and international health care market in
                   order to improve the health service.

                          I  would  like  to  extend  my  heartfelt  thanks  and  gratitude  to  my  fellow  faculty
                   members and their co-worker members, headed by Prof. Dr. Magdy Balha, the Academic

                   Coordinator of the Program, who bear this responsibility.

                          In  conclusion,  we  ask  God  to  crown  our  efforts  to  serve  our  students  and  our
                   patients with success.
