3. Article 3: Disclosure of past activities
a. Presence of any activity, either work-related or private, which could reflect badly
on the College in its relationships with the university community.
b. If you have any prior criminal convictions, you are requested to inform the
College about them before attending to the faculty. If you do not disclose this
information or are not truthful about it, disciplinary action could be taken against
your which could lead to dismissal.
4. Article 4: Standards of Conduct obligated to all members
The College will provide an educational environment that facilitates and enforces good
behavior and positive attitudes of mutual respect.
Medical students have a right to support and assistance from the School of Medicine
in maintaining a climate conducive to thinking and learning. University teaching
reflects consideration for the dignity of students and their rights as persons.
Medical student mistreatment will not be allowed. Behavior or situations that are
unacceptable include, but are not limited to:
a. Discrimination based on race, color, nationality, religion
b. Sexual harassment
c. Unwanted physical contact
d. Verbal abuse, profanity, or demeaning comments
e. Inappropriate criticism which belittles, embarrasses, or humiliates others
f. Unreasonable requests for a student to perform personal services
g. A pattern of intentional negligence or intentional lack of communication
h. Requiring students to perform tasks beyond their level of competency without
adequate supervision
i. Beside the lawful points regulating the dealing with Political issue, campaigns or
expressive attitudes or ideas at a non-justifiable or non-permitted situations as in
all times for studying, training, practicing and work are totally forbidden
j. Feedback is a necessary part of the educational process. When students fail to meet
educational standards, appropriate constructive comments are necessary to
promote learning and avoid humiliation.
